Just purchased a 16750 and would appreciate feedback-better pics this time

Hi all, I am new to this forum and have never owned a vintage Rolex. I know many may not qualify this 16750 as vintage as it has the gloss dial, but is does have an acrylic crystal and tritium dial/hands. I'd appreciate any feedback, which will help with my education, regarding the originality of this watch. It is an R serial number. Thanks for looking.

Looks like a nice watch! As far as feedback goes - the hands have been replaced at some point in time. Dial looks very nice as well as the insert. Case seems very full and not excessively worn down by polishing.

Enjoy your 16750.

Thanks jP. I was wondering if the hands were original. They are definitely lighter than the dial, but they are tritium with no glow. I have read that the patina on the dial and hands don't always match on original sets. How can you tell that the hands have been replaced? I've been reading as much as I can on this forum and have learned so much....thanks TRF. I'm trying to get educated on vintage Rolex.

They look new!!! They don't match well at all. Later replacement tritium hands if they do not glow.

Wear that watch and enjoy the heck out of it. Great insert. If the hands ever bother you enough to do something about it, just source a patina'd set... As Springer observed, the rest of it is in solid shape.
