Vintage 70s Rolex
Hi can any one help, I took my whatch to a repairs in Barcelona, and the Bezel, face and hand seem to have been replaced!
The look new! It was taken in just to get it going again! Should i worry about this as I'm never going to sell it, I'm just a bissed off as Iv had the watch for 37 years Maybe he thinks hes doing a favor? What you thoughts is there anything i can do, the Watch was at rolex 2 year before! Here a photo |

Did they itemise these replacements on your repair bill ?
Swiss T - < 25 was used on the dials from 1960 to the late 1990's, so the dial would appear to be correct - as for the hands, no idea (crappy photo), but if they are the same colour as the lume plots on the dial, you're looking good The bezel - possibly - depends how wrecked (or not) your old one was ..... |

You didn't ask for any of those parts to be replaced, and he did so without telling you??
Yeah, I'd be furious! Get the parts back immediately! |

If parts were replaced without permission, I would request them to be returned immediately !
The photo is not very clear, but the dial looks correct....................

Would you say face you mean dial? I find it odd that he would replace the dial with another tritium dial , let alone not ask you

Nothing seems new on this watch.
Do you mean that it was worst before and got replacement parts that were not new?

Agree with you - the picture attached doesn't reflect a "serviced" watch. Bezel, dial and hands all appear to be "original". Maybe the OP didnt attach the after pic?
