I can't say I didn't expect it to look better in person as I've never seen an RG 44 before today in person, but it looks even better than I thought it would. AP blew me away with this piece. It's quite hefty too! I have been looking at other pictures people have posted with strap changes. Will be getting a few additional straps sometime in the near future. For now, I will be enjoying it the way it came

Here is one on the wrist. Wrapping will come undone soon. I actually thought it was going to be a bit bigger. I tried on the Ti for size at the AD and remembered it to be bigger but it is just right. Any bigger and it would seem out of place. I have a 6.9" wrist and I am on the second to last buckle. It feels like fits about a half size big; I can slide it from beginning of my wrist to behind my wristbone. I tried putting the pin in the last buckle and even tried a tad bit more force than I should but it does not want to go. I usually like to give my Rolex a little wiggle room but is this too much? The case slides up and down a bit given that it's not snug. Any inputs on whether this may too loose or not? I am inclined to keep it as is right now but if it bothers me more in the future I may have to do a partial strap swap.

Congrats looks great.
I would combine small & medium strap to get a perfect fit as it obviously isn’t perfect the way you describe the fit.

Agreed. I wear my RG tighter than my Ti due to the weight, its important to get the fit right.

Looks awesome

As above. I'd get an XS strap but possibly keep the tang side regular and only change the slot side to XS. The slots on the XS are cut intermittent with those on the regular strap so that will give you a half size tighten. This is what I've done on both my RG44 and Summer Edition.

Personal preference but these watches are heavy and for me there's nothing more annoying than having them moving around. Also if they 'hang' below the wrist bone they look ridiculous.
