Icon2 New Tudor "LV" Black Bay - Harrods LE

Green insert + black dial + gold hands? Looks good, IMO.

And "feet first" due to the Harrods connection. ;-)

Put the vid up, any excuse to hear that funky music again.

Should really be this, Harrods theme.

Why on earth Tudor accepted to make a tribute watch to a shopping mall beats me.

Maybe they just needed an excuse to make even another iteration of the BB.

Yeah...that's nice.

The only thing is the rivet bracelet. Can someone enlighten me as to the ease of adjustability and the comfort level?

my thoughts about 2 3rd of the way down. it is traditional screws on the removable links.

I was thinking the opposite. Why was one of the most prestigious stores in the world letting Tudor do a watch for them instead of insisting it be Rolex or nothing at all.

With the gold hands and the gold dial markers, why wouldnt they make the numbers and markers on the insert gold too? Looks out of place to me or an afterthought.

Spoke to a nice chap [deiter i think] at Rolex/Tudor in Harrods earlier and he informed me that all 100 pieces have sold and the list which is at 400 people has now been closed until they receive the next batch sometime in the new year and he didnt know how many,,,,,,,jay

Was going to post a very similar message as Jay above...
I rang Harrods and the assistant said all 100 have been allocated. Tudor announced the release before Harrods were ready and they were inundated with requests. I am sure they have sorted out their big buyers within the 100.

However, they are talking with Tudor about a 2nd batch being produced. They will not be numbered in the same way (if at all) and a manufacturing qty will need confirming.
So he took my name and mobile, added me to the 400 names already down and said they will be in contact next year if going ahead.

That's disheartening to hear. I was hoping to pick one up when I go I London next month. The again wishful thinking on my part.

My name is on the list but I hazard a guess and say its not the top 100 and the woman I spoke too echos what has been said - they might expand to 175 hence why they took my name but it might not be numbered edition, only the first 100 might be.

I am sure some will turn up for sale as soon as interest rises.

I see Beckham's adverts here and there and I think this has helped put so many names on the list already, wouldn't have thought a Tudor would be so popular with the typical Harrods mob otherwise.
