Availability in Paris - Submariner

Hi everyone.

Im going to Paris in december, and im looking to buy my first Rolex.

Is the Submariner 114060 likely to be availible in any of the AD`s in Paris?

Here in Norway at least, it seems to be a rather long wait.

Maybe call up ahead to some AD's and ask? Generally speaking in Europe it's quite a difficult watch to get hold off by the looks of things, but only a short wait compared to others

My mum just returned from Paris and she reported there weren't any SS sport models available. only typical DJ and oyster perpetuals.

Paris is pretty much dry but you can definitely get lucky with ss models at a couple different locations.

If anyone needs guidance pm me

I'm living in Paris and i confirm that is difficult to find Professional Model in Paris. Furthemore, most of ADs don't expose all models in the showcase. So my advice is to call or to ask. FYI 'Bucherer' at Opera in Paris is one of the biggest supplier, so you should call them and ask.

If you’re interested in second-hand, there’s a nice little shop on rue Marbeuf (just off avenue des Champs-Élysées) which has, inter alia, a good range of pre-owned sports models.

The other option is you might get lucky at CDG: from time to time they have sports models with nice discounts.

114060 is not available in Paris.

If you want black sub or other classic ss pieces you can contact my AD and they might be able to source for you.

Good luck!

For professional Rolex, the best in Paris is second hand shop as Olivine Prestige, Romain Rea, Antoine de Macedo, Collection Heure, Rivewatch.......

thanks so much for the tips! planning to check these out in April. let me know, please, if there's any other vintage shops worth checking out.

is vat refunded on pre-owned watches as well, or is vat only due on new watches? how do small shops refund vat? do they participate in a refund scheme like globalblue?

thanks again!
