Which iPhone case and screen protector ?

For the X, I’m considering Speck Presidio Grip or something from UAG.
The Wirecutter.com claims all the tempered glass screen protectors are the same.

Thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

I have used OtterBox cases for several years. I think they are a good product that fits well.

I have been searching for months for the earlier model. That clock was released from 1928 to 1931, mine is the 30 to 31 version, the rare-er 28/29 one has subtle differences, and is more difficult to come across, but I sure would like to add it to my collection.

Also really liking the performance of the X. Much faster than my previous phone. Battery life is great. Pretty smooth transition so far.

I will be getting my X this week so I have also been looking into cases.

I used the Apple leather case years ago on my 6 and I thought it was great. I remember it holding up well.

I read that Apple has recently stepped up in terms of the quality of the leather they use (I thought the old leather was fine) and they have added some nice touches such as metal buttons.

I think I am going to go with saddle brown.

That's a nice color. I am also thinking of dark aubergine. There are too many choices.

Rarely use cases. If I do, I only use for first few months while new. As for screen protectors. Never. They do nothing.

Otter box, I think its the defender series, basically completely protects the phone from everything, very durable, my phone takes a beating and it is never harmed or damaged.

Also as for glass I use Invisible Shield Glass+ absolute must IMHO. I have cracked a few glass protectors over the years and would have cracked the screen for sure if they weren't on.

Waiting for delivery of the Mrs X which I ordered together with the leather folio. Will have to see how it works. If she does not like it will go with a Vaja case

No screen protector for me.

In addition to my Apple silicone white and ThanoTech K11 bumper silver, I’m thinking about grabbing this Pitaka Aramid case:

https://www.ipitaka.com/products/mag...t=900958912540

I’m looking for a minimalist case and this one should fit the bill.

Yup, I've been using them since 2003 and they come in different colors and designs.

As for screen protector, I've been using Zagg. If you register with them you get free replacement, just have to pay shipping.

This is wrong.

Those film screen protectors do nothing.

Tempered glass screen protectors should always be used.

A bit off topic.
I do miss the larger landscape of my iPhone 6+
The X + will have a larger area.

I’m always amazed by the spectrum of opinions regarding many facets of life.
Some will run naked and send me with only max protection as with a Defender.
Reminds me how motorcycle riders choose to wear a helmet and those that don’t.

I was always a no case person, but the new Iphone with the glass rear is super slippery.

For everyone getting the new iPhone, make sure you get a case that is COMPATIBLE with wireless charging.

No but it is silly to not protect glass for $39.99 on a $1200 phone. Sure beats walking around with a cracked phone.

I was speaking relative to not wearing a helmet while riding a motorcycle.
