No...no...it's true! I have it on good authority that they are raising prices this year. I know a guy who's sisters...daughters...classmate...uncles....brothe r in-law knows a guy whom is the RPD (Rolex Pricing Decider) and he has apparently seen his shadow after coming out of a hole which is a sure sign that it's possibly likely to go up this year! I assure you, that if you don't act quickly, there will be truth to it, and if you do act quickly they won't raise prices for another year or so!

I agree with that, however I do not believe that the demand is increasing. In 90s Subs, SDs were seen around, but now I never see any new model Rolexes around anymore.

Omega and Breitling had HUGE increases, and I think Omega is changing their distribution quite a bit.
So if an Omega Planet Ocean is selling for $8,900 (the new liquid metal ones are) and Crosswind Breitling with inhouse movements are MSRP at around $9,000 -

Rolex HAS to increase their prices to "stay ahead" to keep the image of being more expensive (oops, I mean more exlusive)

BTW - my girlfriend has been talking about buying a datejust for years - and every year she can't belive how much the prices have gone up -
if she had just bought one 2-3 years ago, she would be very happy now -

or maybe she can wait a couple more years until the SS models top the $10,000 mark!
