the GMT2c was 61,200 HKD ~(7800 usd.) I ended up paying 50,xxx HKD (~$65xx usd) BNIB with a pen and pouch as a gift.

The whole idea of the random serial is to obfuscate the date of manufacture. No one has yet "cracked" the code...
