Good deal?
Hey Everyone,
Looking for some opinions on whether or not I should make this trade. My 3 year old 116610lv, overall great condition with some minor surface scratches and a small ding in the bottom right lug- plus $2k, for a bnib 116600 sea dweller. Thoughts? |

Who are you trading with? If a business and you can't move on the price, ask for some Rolex freebees, Pocket knife, pen, paperweight. Or maybe free life time polish. Maybe first overhaul included?

It is a private deal. I am fairly confident that I can get him down to $1500 or so. The SD is actually LNIB as the stickers have been removed.

I prefer the Hulk myself, but at $1500 it would be a fair deal.

Yeah, get rid of that Hulk. It might look good because of it's colour but it's hard to match clothes with it. Go for the Sea Dweller

If you don't have a black dial watch, I would agree that black is easier to match. |

I have both and if one had to go it would be SD
Hulk is more unique, fun to look at and interesting IMHO Having said that both are great and you cant really go wrong either way as long as the +cash isn't over 1500 or so |

The SD and the SDC are both 'excellence' in Rolex engineering.
I'd go for the deal or try for a better one.

That's a great trade in my view. A bnib for a 3 year old plus 2k ... I'd say you've done well and go for it!

Thanks everyone for your opinions. I have decided to keep my Hulk. I was going to make the trade but at the last minute I changed my mind. Something in my gut wouldnt let me say goodbye to it... I actually felt sick about the idea of getting rid of it. I didn't think I could be so emotional about a watch! Anyway, thanks again!
