Please advise.
Thanks.

I had the opportunity,in December,while visiting a friend,who is the general manager
of the closest Rolex boutique to me,to handle
and actually spend a couple hours, walking around the mall with it,during my xmas shopping
adventure with the wife.

Anyway, the watch is extremely heavy, however, almost immediately feels like it belongs
attached to your wrist.

I've never seen or felt a watch, especially the size of this one,
that felt so comfortable and with watches i own, weighing much less,
this DSSD just seemed different and hard to explain how
comfortable it is,unless you try it yourself and the other aspect
i liked,is that despite the dark colored face,an option i normally
stay away from,as i normally find them harder to read,it is so big, that
the "hands" stand out and make the watch very easy to "read".

Don't let the weight or size deter you from at least checking
one out and to be honest,it is 1 of the next on my list,
as i will own one when my ducks are all in a row.

Hope that helps and good luck..

Once fitted properly, it's VERY comfortable on the wrist. Even better fit with diver extension taken off. Does not feel heavy. I have a 7.25" wrist and it's perfect for my wrist structure. Loved this watch since the moment I saw it. Unique piece.

It can feel top heavy if not adjusted properly. Glidelock let you adjust at 2mm increments, so finding perfect fit around wrist is not an issue.

Very comfortable for me. Size it properly and the weight balances out. The watch disappears and becomes part of your arm.

I had one on this past Sunday and I was amazed at how comfortable it was ... But you need to try it on for yourself...

its a great looking watch. unless you have a real small wrist, it will work just fine. IMHO

Based on your collection it will definitely fit in. In regards to your questions best answer is try it on. It does feel heavier than the Sub 116610 or SD4000C and most Sports Rolex watches. It will also dwarf your Daytona.
It fits fine on your wrist as long as you have over 7'' wrists. You will get used to it in time (both size and weight).
But i insist you go and try one on even if it is the black face so that you check size, weight and proportions. By the way the Deep Blue face looks fantastic in real life.

You get used to the 44m after a while.
On a waiting list for Blue but will get black dial if have to wait for too long. Fantastic watch...

The only concern I have with DSSD is height. Sometimes you have a feeling that it sits heally high, but I think that this is just a matter of sizing bracelet. If you like it go for it. I am still debating between one and Batman.

As others have said, it is very comfortable to wear when properly sized.

I'm in the minority here, but I have tried them on and thought is was too bulky and top heavy for me (I do only have a 7" wrist though).

I preferred the feel of the sub and SD more. I ended up going with a SubC 114060.

They do look good though, just not a good fit for me.

Make sure you've tried them on before you purchase one if you aren't sure.

Love it, like others have said you just have to adjust it properly. You will forget you have it on your wrist except for all the compliments you will get.

I find it very comfortable to wear given its weight and height. Its more comfortable then my GMT BLNR. Like others have said you need to have at least a 7" wrist. It fits perfectly on my 7.5 " flat wrist.

It's comfortable, don't get me wrong, but after a solid day of wear...it will wear you down.

It's worth it though. You will always know you're wearing it.

I guess it would depend on your size, but I agree with you I don't notice anymore than any other watch I wear.

Swapped my sub for DeepSea Blue ...

Weight not an issue, feels very comfortable on wrist. Kudos to Peacock in Chicago for sizing it even though it wasn't bought there.

Have not noticed too much color variations on dial, but it maybe my eyeballs ... wife notices it much more.

So far, happy with the switch!

Have had mine for 2 months. I have a lil over 7 inch wrists. Have not taken it off. I wear dress shirts everyday. The size is a non issue. Perfect size, does not feel blingy, big or heavy. Yes, if you are comparing it in a store to a Sub of course it’s going to feel bigger because it is. I would not think twice about the size.
