My new 16013!

So I just purchased my second Rolex, I think Bought her for a fairly good price. $2,600 it's a 1986 (determined by the serial#) 16013 18K YG/SS. At first, from the pictures online I love the dial, it's a black mother of pearl dial with added diamonds... And this is how I learn about aftermarket dials.... So after some research I come to realize my watch has an aftermarket dial. Not a big deal, as I do infact like the mother of pearl colors, but I don't like how the date window overlaps the numbers slightly... I would much rather have an authentic Rolex dial instead. Or at least purchase one and be able to swap between the two if I wanted. What are your opinions on the dial? Should I take it off? And what are some good places to find a genuine Rolex 16013 dial. Thanks guys!

Find a gen dial on eBay and swap it out. Resale value takes a big hit for modified Rolex watches. Especially if it's modified with non Rolex genuine parts

Congrats...swap it out for an original dial. What would be fun is to seek out a rare one! DATEJUST dials have always had many several stunning options.

Speaking of aftermarket dials, I always wondered are these original dials to begin with? And just modified? Or is everything about them aftermarket?

Put a Tapestry dial in that watch! Here is my 16013, always love an excuse to show it off!
