Blue dial DateJust

I restored this older Date Just and laser welded a bunch of pitting around the gasket groove on the case back. Once that groove was re-cut I decided I wanted a blue dial but not the dark navy blue I've seen. I wanted something a little brighter. I bought a correct but used dial off ebay and had it refinished. Just got it back today and installed it and put the original in the box. What do you think?

I think it looks great. Just something about blue dials and you got a very nice one. I decided to try a refinished dial, from one of the top refinishers here in Dallas, while my original dial and hands are at ABC to get the hands repaired.

It's definitely a more vibrant blue!

That's a nice color too. Who did the refinish in Dallas, Kirk Dial? I had International Dial do mine and I sent him the paint that would be compatible with their inks.
