First Post, First Rolex- The Cellini

Hello Everyone, thank you for having me on your forum- thus far, it's been a wealth of knowledge which is much appreciated from a novice Rolex owner. I was on the hunt for a dress watch, particularly PP and VC. Dropped in the nearest AD, was not jazzed whatsoever with the previously mentioned timepieces. The salesman redirected my attention to the Rolex section of the store- hesitantly I followed. When my eyes met the dial of the Cellini, it was over- IMO, it's an absolutely stunning watch- and wears like a champion on my wrist. I was so impressed after wearing it for a week, I went back for the Sub as my everyday watch.

Apologies in advance for the mediocre picture quality.

Thank you for the congrats on the new purchases, I'm generally not one to post on social sites (don't have a Facebook account), but it would appear the Cellini is somewhat of the red-headed stepchild on this forum and felt compelled to show it some love-

If there is a formal rationale I appologize upfront.

I don't get why Rolex differentiates the Cellini line. They have some great designs and should be seen as Rolex without the Cellini connotation. The one the OP has is beautiful.

Gorgeous time piece. Congratulations. It was Cellini, in fact, that that led me to Rolex. Wear it in good health.

Congrats. It is beautiful. As mentioned above, the Cellini does not get enough attention on this Forum.

That is a nice Cellini. Despite how everyone prefers more sportier Rolexes like the Sub and the Explorer, I can't help but love the dressier Cellinis more.

Loving the one on top of me right now.

Great looking watch; I would love one for dress. Prefer it over many more expensive brands.

Congratulations! I love your Cellini Date almost as much as I love mine! Most of the attention on this forum is given to Rolex sports models so I particularly appreciate learning that another member feels as I do about the Cellini line.
