Advice needed!

So guys, I need your advices. Tomorrow I'm invited to my local boutique re-grand opening. I was ensured by the manager that there would be the two new Daytona C for sale. Now the dilemma is that, if I pick up the Daytona C tomorrow, I will not have enough for a PP5726 Black on Bracelet. So the choice is either get the Daytona C tomorrow and postpone the PP or get the PP first and Daytona C later.

Thanks in advance guys,
Ben

Do you think the new Daytonas will really be available? Only with massive waiting lists it seems a bit odd. Certainly there will be a heavy demand. So if you do want one...get there very early indeed. Or phone him now....

I got a pretty decent relationship with the boutique. The manager said that, there would only be two pieces, one black and one white. For this piece, he won't be able to hold it. However, if I'm there at 5 pm when the event started, i'll most likely be able to get one.

If you can get the Daytona I would move on it. Wear it, enjoy it and if you should decide it dos not work then you can flip.

I'm probably going to be in the minority here, but I've always liked the 5726. It's expensive relative to the Daytona, but it has the more useful functions for me. That would be my choice first.

Personally, 5726, I imagine give it time the Daytona will be easier available maybe? Which one will you regret not waking out the shop with? Do you want the Daytona c because of the opportunity? Would you go out of your way to get one otherwise? Same with the Patek. Break it down go with what makes you happiest. Hope this helps.

it's obvious to me...go Patek.
You'll have plenty of time to pick the Daytona when the hype is gone.

If your funds are ready for the 5726, then get it. Then save up and get the SS DaytonaC when all the hype is gone. Which would last several years, I think.

I'd get the D5 now, the 5726 is easily available, if it was the 5711 then maybe go for that first.

Daytona of course. You can't lose this year with one. Wear it for six months and still sell for a profit

Daytona. I'm not big on resellers, but if you can get it and then don't love it, you can still sell it for a nice profit. You get the PP and a few extra bucks for the next one.

Daytona! 5726 will be easy to find when you're ready for it.

It only makes sense to plunk down the cash for a Daytona if you can get it at retail prices. Then you flip it for a few thousand in profit, and consider it a discount on the Patek.

There's little reason to not pick up the Daytona if you're given this unique opportunity....the Patek isn't going anywhere.

You're very fortunate to be seriously considering both of these watches - me personally - I would be jumping all over that Daytona ASAP at 4:59! In either color too.

You could probably flip It for a profit to someone at the event. Just meet the next day away from the AD so you don't hurt your relationship there.

If everyone is being truthful...this is the real and easy answer! No brainier...get the Daytona, sell it to someone who can't stand to wait, and get what you really want!
Personally, I would get, and keep, the white daytona
