I like two tone with black dial/bezel. And white gold with blue dial/bezel (smurf).

Umm , I'm not a car salesman...
I have the blue TT Sub C , it's my daily ...
if you read my earlier posts you'd see I had both
TT Subs... Black and Blue at the same time.
Obviously the blue stayed and the black Sub moved
on !!!! However, by all means get the one that floats
your boat ... it is your $$$ in the end !

@Superstarmar
I considered your point. I also have noticed that others have taken the decision to move the LB and keep the LN. It's really a personality thing. For myself I think my personality fits better with the LN. That's one of the reasons I go LN. It's perfectly fine if the LB fits you better. It's an amazing watch. It's very hard to choose which one to acquire. But I had to make a choice. Like I said, 13'000.00 USD is a lot of money to me. So I had to choose wisely. I needed input and got it on this forum. Thank you all...it helped me a lot. The worst case scenario would be a loss of a couple thousand dollars if I'll decide to swap later (which I don't believe right now) but this would be with either, Rolex TT SubC LN, or LB...and I can afford that. Would bother, but not ruin me.

I'm still indecisive about going TT black or blue, so I feel your pain. I own a SS Sub-C and looking to trade up to the 116613LN; it's a perfect balance of class and subtle flash! When I looking at making my first Rolex purchase, my gut wanted the 116613LN but I went SS to be more "under the radar." Now I can't get the TT off my mind. One day I will make up my mind, but I'm glad you made up yours! Congrats.

@Eric Chan
No, it does not sum it up since I'm only looking to have one and not multiple Rolexes. I would rather upgrade later to a YG than go SS Sub C and TT Sub LB. I'm aware of the fact that there are other models with the same color combo as the TT Sub C LN. But I go Sub for it's versatility and culture...

Hi guys

Sorry to bring this up again but I came to an definite conclusion. I needed more time to make a such a expensive watch purchase. I'd like to thank you all again for your input. So, I figured this out.

- When it comes to the bluesy, I think I can handle the little extra flash.
- Since I find the blue dial and bezel are amazing, it would be a shame to pass on it because of other peoples hypotetical perceptions. After all, I'm going to see it the most.
- The black dial, probably because it's more classic, is also more common isn't it?
- If I'd go black, the bluesy will stay in the back of my mind and, it might be regretted.
- The bluesy color combo is rather unique. For 13k, I want a rather unique piece.
- Black and gold combos can be found for less $ (Tudor for ex.)

For now, I'll pick up a bluesy up very shortly since I have the chance to take a shot at it ;-)

Maybe, I'll get more watches in a few years but first I have to take care of my wife and kid. But you never know...A Rolex always has been a dream of mine and if one's has the will, dreams can come true. I am living proof.

Well fellow TRF members, thanks for the warm welcome.

See you around

If you want a subtle watch, don't get the blue. Two of my friends have the blue, and it is gorgeous. In my opinion it is the most beautiful Rolex, and it is the watch that made me want to get a Rolex.

My husband has the TT black. It is a very classy watch, and goes with everything. But, he wanted more of a classic tool watch, so he got a 16710 Pepsi and wears it every day. The Sub hardly ever sees the light of day.

You can't go wrong with either.

Well here's my two cents. I have looked at both two tones for awhile. Every time I looked at the blue, I just couldn't see myself wearing a blue watch. I am also very traditional and conservative. I recently purchased the. Lack and had it for about a month, but it just didn't sing to me. After seeing a lot of pictures here on TRF in everyday situations I just decided to take the plunge since just trying it on in the AD gave me the usual blah. I am so glad I did. This has fast become my fav Rolex of all time. The compliment of the starburst blue dial and the bright blue bezel is stunning. In some light it looks black and other times fades blue to black. So my recommendation is the blue!!

I know you've made your decision but I would go with the one that you just like looking at all the time and not worry about the other things. If you love it they won't matter.

Since someone brought this up again I'll update it.

Went Black after all because blue is simply not my favorite color. I feel very comfortable wearing the LN. It's almost like it became a part of me now. Also I think the LB might be a little bit too fancy for me. I preferred to keep a more classic look. I know Rolex offers the blue Sunburst dial only for for a few models. But do I have to let Rolex influence me on my choice ? No, I bought what I truly felt to be the right one for me. Went LN and nothing but good feelings three weeks in

^ Agree with @motlking.

For Gold and Black the GMT2c is much nicer. The Bluesy is too beautiful to pass compared to the LN.

Glad you are happy with your purchase but from reading your previous posts I have a feeling you will be flipping the black soon.

Just a remark, the blue sunburst offered on the tt and yg Sub Date models is exclusively to these two. All other blue sunbursts are different hues of blue.
