Very cool; I wasn't wearing mine at midnight. I know my Sea Dweller needs adjustment. I'll check on the Sky D when I put it on this morning.

Did what? Date went from the 30th, to 1st automatically?

The more I see this reference, the more I like it! Looks really good.

You bet it did. And the red dot moved from 9 hour marker to 10 to signify October.

I’m not a fan of the overall look of the Sky Dweller but I must say Rolex’s implantation of the annual calendar is the best I’ve ever seen. Also the GMT Mini-dial is a very interesting concept. Lots to admire about the new Sky Dweller.

Very nice piece, Adam! How do you find the black sunburst effect?

Hey Neil, I recall you saying this one may fit. It's thick but lug to lug seems to work for me. I wrote it off at 42mm but of course from hanging here had to finally investigate.

Now as for the color, the sun burst is NOT as vibrant as your sub (s), in fact oddly I find the sun burst is more apparent INDOORS which is weird to me. It's flatter mostly which caught me a bit off guard but I'll tell you what, been grabbing it a lot lately. It's a real fun one to own. And I have to say, my honeymoon period is notoriously short typically. This one is holding my attention.

Ruud, it is a wonderful watch. You'd be shortsighted no to consider it.

That's what I thought, sunburst is there but milder. Can we see a wrist shot, probably in the mirror, would be most accurate.
