The diamond hour markers are actually very tasteful on this watch. I’m still not sure about the anniversary etching on the dial though.

If you have to have it , and you are going to keep it, pay the premium. We're not getting any younger.

agreed. OP has been waiting four years. if it was me and i still wanted it i would pay the premium. Four years on and haven't lost interest means its probably a keeper anyway.

If I am really interested in a watch I have on order I try to ask the AD every six months about the situation. I think it's only reasonable if you have a >20 000 euro watch on order..I'm not sure these "lists" are worth much though in case of a very popular watch.

Sounds about right, I have only recently joined the list for the blue dial 5711 but expect many messages and a few events to pass before getting the green light.
