Thoughts on my first Rolex?
Hi All,
First time posting since I️ just received my first Rolex that was originally from my grandfathers. Want to get some opinions on it. I’ve done a little bit of research but otherwise don’t know anything about Rolex! The watch seems to be made prior to the 1960 due to the “t Swiss t” located on the bottom. My mother got the watch serviced for me so the reference number is not with me but overall what do you think of this vintage oyster perpetual? Would love to hear some feedback, specs or stories related to this masterpiece! Thanks y’all! |

it would be helpful to provide some description of the watch for us.
a "t swiss t" on the bottom is almost on all vintage rolex watches. Things that could help are: 1) is it dress watch or sports model? i.e. does it have a rotating diver or not? 2) is it stainless steel or gold or? 3) does it come with a date or no-date? this will at least help with understanding roughly what type / model this is - obviously still guessing but would have narrowed it down significantly for us. |
