Filling that last spot in the box!?
...it's actually a 10 watch box ;-) But I thought it was more fun to play this game. My current lineup: 1680 5512 5513 1675 16750 I'd love a 1655 but the prices I do not love. I'm thinking maybe time to add a DJ? I have a bigger wrist (7-3/4), so unsure how that will work for me. What do you folks think? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You need a Rootbeer sub or a two tone sub to round out that collection. Either that or a bakelite insert sub or a new ceramic.

Very nice collection!
I am a quality over quantity guy, and while I can't see exactly what you have from the photo I would rather vend one or couple of them, like the 1680 and get a nice red sub or a gilt 1675 with the proceeds + your current budget. While I like the sub progression in your collection and I only say the 1680 bc there are lots of them out there and as observed on this forum many times, their prices seem to have climbed a lot of late. |

I'd toss in an LV or a 16600 or even a 39mm explorer. If you felt daring, a Milgauss GV Z Blue would look amazing in there adding a splash of color.

Sorry for the small picture/poor resolution. I’ve cultivated some solid examples that make me smile, and am also totally a “quality over quantity” guy.
I hear ya guys on the red sub. But honestly, I like the white Sub. And to me the premium of a red over white isn’t worth it ...to me. But I think they are total cool! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

A Kermit would be nice in that spot. Would keep with the theme of understated (but no less impressive) work horses in the front and show ponies in the back.

I would get a gilt gmt. Then upgrade one of those subs for a red 1680!

I’d consolidate and get a 1655. Your 1675 and 16750, and 5512 and 5513, are similar enough where you could let one/two go and get a completely different look on your wrist with an Explorer II. A 1016 could work too, and of course a Daytona, but the prices are ridiculous now.

Superb collection. How about TT GMT? Or go off the grid and get an Omega SpeedMaster Professional....in my opinion, either way your a winner!

Yes, different references, but similar looking. I'm all about wrist presence and look. One reason I got rid of my 1665 GW is that is reminded me too much of my 5512, even though they're quite different. |

I agree that a nice red sub would fit in well there.

1655 was what jumped out to me first, but, after that, I'd say some kind of 36mm DJ/DD/Exp I. Your wrist isn't huge or anything.

Change it up with a white 16550, you even have a couple of different flavours. I can attest that watch looks fine on bracelet and leather and perlon and is a nice change from the black dials on all the other sport models. Aaaaaand I've talked myself into my watch for the day

I now see your dilemma! That last spot may be harder than you think to fill. Maybe leave it alone for now?
