Wondering if the OP trades his cars in before they ever need a service? This is the oddest thing I have read in a while. It's not like there is any permanent damage to the watch, as has been said when the watch is serviced the whole thing is taken apart, cleaned, inspected and reassembled.

I think I know how you feel Lawrence. Since it's been opened, it might not feel the same but I can assure you that's just in our heads. Two options here...it will be like new once returned so keep it and enjoy it or if you do decide to flip it, I'd go with a different watch altogether.

Hilarious.

You should keep the watch as is. A new one might also have something that displeases you. This one has had the rsc tune up and is ready to go.

Enjoy your watch. It's like a new one, except you already bonded and have history together. Don't waste your money. Save it towards a new buy.

as long as RSC will be the one to perform the repairs needed, no problem your watch will be as good as new. But if it will be butchered by some self proclaiming rolex "specialist" who claims to have also trained in switzerland or a "former" RSC watchmaker working from under a tree or basement...then its time to flip..

This!
