I really hope they do a SS version of some sorts. With the 321 would be ideal but apparently these are being built by Omega's tourbillion division, so maybe super expensive.
At lease a cool version like the one they did for the 45th anniversary. |

That makes more sense to me, sorry. I'm thinking these will be available new for some time...the market niche is pretty small for an all-gold 30k Speedy (no matter how cool it is). Personally, I would LOVE one, but it's out of my budget. |

I am guessing the watch containing the 321 will be a special limited production Speedmaster priced between the previous LEs, $7,500, and this gold one, $32,000. Probably $12K - $15k. I don't know what it will look like, but I am hoping it is based on the 105.003 "Ed White" with straight lugs, no crown guards, ~39mm case, and black (ceramic, DoN ?) bezel. |

Just got a call from my AD. The 50th Anniversary “steel” version will actually be a two-tone.
The only other information he has at this time is that it is priced at $9,600. |

It’s not wrong / gold bezel. Also - it’s got a graphic at the 9 sub. This is the deal killer for me

I wonder whether Buzz Aldrin was wearing his original, or one of the new Moonglow models? Incidentally, he always wears 2 watches on a single band on his left wrist.
Eccentric? Maybe. Stud? For sure!

Update on the SS version. 6969 pieces confirmed from multiple sources, 500 for the US market. Rumors that it is a two tone version are somewhat correct, however it is actually a stainless steel piece with gold accents.

Now im even more perplexed. Almost 6,500 units allocated to non-US markets? That's a crazy amount.

Hesalite front, and sapphire back to see the 3861 movement, which will be chronometer certified, would also be on my wish list. Everyone has their own and different preferences. These are just some of mine. Omega knew how to make a pre moon speedy. I am going to assume they know how to make a 50th anniversary commemorative. |

You and me both. I’m just not a fan of their ltds with the medals or eagles or moon landing stuff over the subdial. Just not my thing, ruins should a clean watch normally. I guess you are hearing the same info. I’m guessing half like and half don’t with that kind of detail. Im thinking plenty of deposits will be requested back Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I don’t have snoopy either. I guess your a decal guy, that’s fine. The limited I like are ST1, ck2998 etc. not some space walk graphic jammed on a small subdial. You don’t have to agree, that’s fine. Like I said, I’m guessing it will be polarizing. I get some $$ back so I’m happy! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Thank you for your answer.
Actually I’m not a decal guy. I am a commemorative guy. I have a 105.012–65. So I already have my 321 movement. What I want is a 50th year commemorative, decal or not. I was alive 50 years ago during the moon landing and I would just like a commemorative for that reason to go along with my pre-moon speedy. So I am willing to take a lot of “stuff” on the watch that others may not want. |
