While overall quality is probably higher for the most part with Breitling, Tag does very well in the looks department, in my opinion. Love my Formula 1!

I've never had a breitling - they just don't float my boat.

Despite being a Rolex man,i do like my 2 Tag models.
Sporty, low maintenance, keep perfect time and I think they look great.

Breitling's certainly a bit better than TAG Heuer, but they're both primarily purveyors of mostly-trendy and heavily-generic-movement-dependent watches that are quite expensive for what they are.

I don't see most of the two companies' products as being significantly different in principle, and it's not like Breitling's quality is all that much better than TAG Heuer's. Breitling's unrepairable soldered crown tubes aren't exactly something to brag about, either.
I bit better? Your personal opinion and 25 cents won't get you a bus ticket across town.
Be happy about your purchase, regardless of which brand you have. However, those in the know, those whom make living in the watch field know Rolex, Breitling and Omega are considered luxury market swiss watches in the same tier. Tag is not. So, go right ahead. Bash Breitling. But it is the Breitling brand that started the 5 year warranty. All Breitling movements including quartz are cosc certified. Each and every movement. All movements are constructed, and built with swiss parts. I suppose you conveniently shelved the fact Tag was busted for using Sieko parts in their legendary 1889 (I believe) movement. Brietling's are precision instruments for professionals. Due your history.
Look up the connection of Breitling and Tag. Quit worrying if your purchase measures up to other brands.

I have 4 Breitlings and 1 Tag. Breitlings are better watches IMO.

This. I have two Breitlings on my radar but I just can't see myself buying a TAG.
