My girlfriend wears a 115200. It's basically a 34mm Datejust without the just.

What about a 34mm oyster perpetual or 36mm datejust?

My wife is 5ft 100lbs with twig wrists, it looks perfect on her. If she can pull it off, anyone can. One of our friends is a similar size and she wears a Daytona regularly. I think it's a better look than the dainty small ladies' DJs.

Mine has effectively stolen my OP39 white, and also has eyes on my Submariner.

She loves the Oyster Perpetual - perfect for casual wear and the white dial goes with everything.

Why no love for the 26mm DJ? I just bought my wife a two tone with champagne dial. Now I’m second guessing myself. My wife is tiny with small wrists. I think she’ll like it.

It will look great! I think the 26 or 28mm model works well for tiny ladies It's very feminine.

My spouse had one for several years, wore it daily, but with age-related eyesight issues we sold it.

Her father wore a two tone DJ, so I figured she would like it. I agree. It’s a timeless classic. I think I want one for myself after I buy my 16710 of course. 😂

Is your wife set on a Rolex? My wife thought she was until she came across this one. The cool thing was that she thought the bracelet was too blingy and planned to wear it on leather most of the time, so the Omega boutique let us buy it with a stainless steel bracelet. She keeps it on the Omega strap/deployant most of the time, and switches to bracelet if we go to a beach destination. 150M water reserve, display case-back, same movement as the men's Seamaster 300M. Pics don't do the dial justice. Her DJ still gets wrist time, but she favors the Omega these days.

I bought my wife her first Rolex, a dainty MOP/diamond Lady Datejust, around ten years ago. She wore it maybe a few dozen times. Instead she commandeered my Polar Explorer, vintage DJ 36, and Omega Speedy and had the bracelets adjusted to fit her. In protest, I bought a DJ41 and Royal Oak. She's taken to the RO too. I just got myself a Daytona. Point is, once you "bring your wife into the Rolex fold", she may surprise you! Some may consider getting your favorites reallocated a bad thing. I love that our wives can share our passion (and watches).

Thanks to everyone here, I steered her towards the TT datejust 36 RG on the oyster. Will have her try one on when we both get a day off. Just can’t justify the full RG Daytona right now, especially since I might want it for myself down the line

Absolutely! On the sub with the glide lock adjusted just right, we might actually both be able to wear it without resizing

Great choice! You can't go wrong with a 36. I've always worn mine with a black alligator strap and suit. She puts a white strap on it and wears it on summer afternoons. Well done and warm wishes to you both.

Anything with an Oysterflex would work.

So that way it still looks new after being banged around like a handbag...

If not the RG and SS, the SS and Plat would be an awesome option as well

My wife tried one of these on in Grand Cayman last week at the suggestion of the salesman and loved it. It is one of those watches that looks better on the wrist than it does in pictures. She doesn't even generally like green but she really was impressed with this Datejust 36. The little details like the diamonds in the 6 & 9 markers make it really special.
