There are some real beauties on this thread. I especially like the smooth bezels. Just wish my wrist were small enough for me to pull off a 34 mm...

A 6106 from the early 1950's and still a daily wear.

The same 6106 on a metal band for the tropical summers in Taiwan. I think it looks better on a strap.

Beautifull time pieces guys.

--- but this thread is killing me because I want a 34mm case now seeing these, yet I know it will be small on my wrist.

34mm wristshot thread !

I think the first 6518 Q1 1954 in this thread. Can someone recommend a good source of 19mm straps for these oldies?

Mine

I purchased several years ago at a local well known jeweler/Rolex dealer. I love it, but never wear it anymore (into a Sub phase now) so am probably going to sell it at some point. They are true classics!

What kind of moron restores a 6284? That would be me. You might not be able to tell from the candid, but the hands and indices are rose. Too small? I think not.

One of my best purchase ever, reasonable price, and I dare myself to call this in mint condition... No scar no damage on dial, no nothing that makes you wince!

Classic white 6518 with cal. 1030 roulette date wheel...

What a joy...

Plus it comes with the original rivet bracelet too!

Oh wow. Twins!

Took delivery of a leather strap and I cannot make my mind up which looks best. The SS bracelet certainly feels more comfortable but I'm putting that down to two things... being used to it and the leather being new.
