Watch suggestions for wife

Hi all,

I am looking to bring wife into the Rolex fold and looking for advice..

She is looking for a two-tone on an Oyster bracelet and wants something a bit larger than the 31mm datejust I had her try on. She wants something casual and found the datejust to be too dressy. I also had her try on my two tone sub and she thought it was way too big.

Any and all suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

How about stainless 34mm DateJust with smooth bezel and oyster bracelet?

Understated, but classy

Oh boy.
Another males recommending ladies watches threads.

Some day you guys will be 60 and with a spouse 43 years and understand how bad an idea this really is.

Carry on and learn.

Sub or GMT Master or Daytona. Even though they're 40mm, I always felt that women rock it when they wear one. For what it's worth, women in Europe wear Subs, GMTs & Daytonas all the time and they look great doing so.

My wife has a 34mm Rolex Date

A good size for her. She is small.

Even if they draw a how to map, totally detailed, trust me, we will find a way to screw it up and invariably, it will be our fault.
Happiness in my marriage has come as result of understanding that.

She said the DJ31 was too dressy. She wants something larger and Rolesor too, but not as big as your Submariner?

I second the 37mm Yachtmaster recommended above-They’re big, but women wear big watches-I have a Breitling Cosmonaute Aurora 7 Limited on an Air Racer bracelet that I wear. I’ve got a DJ31 too but the Cosmo is an anniversary gift from years ago and I love it.

Daytona. My wife wears a DD40 but I’d love to get her a Daytona.

Watch suggestions for wife

Thanks everyone. I just had the mistake of letting her try on my steel Daytona. She loved the look and fit and is talking about wanting one in rose gold, god help me!!

How old is she? You?
First wife or second?
Fat or skinny?
These are just the basics.

Break out the credit card and go ahead and apply for food stamps. Seriously though, a great choice if you can afford it.

A friend asked me to go with him and his wife and help them pick out a Rolex for her. I told him to just pick whichever one she likes the most, but he insisted, so I went. About 20 minutes in she said "I feel like you're picking out a watch for yourself" and it completely hit me that that was exactly what I was doing She ended up with something extremely different than what I suggested.

My wife fell in love with the below 37 YM when the AD pulled it out from the safe.

The dial is amazing in person.

My wife has the 37mm TT YM, we both fell in love with it when she tried it on. She is tiny with tiny wrists, but the 37mm looks perfect and sporty on her.

In fact, it looked so good on her I had to get one for myself as well after I kept admiring it on her wrist.

I would go 40 MM, she'll end up there anyway.

I gave my wife my 116520 white dial for an anniversary present and she is quite happy to be wearing the same watch as princess Madeline. Lol. In all seriousness it’s under 40mm, a bit dressy, a bit sporty, and very thin. Due to the legibility issues, it’s really more jewelry than watch and perfectly suited for wear by both man and women.

Are you sure the answer isn’t Birkin 35 over Datejust 31? Just kidding...maybe.

Datejust 36mm, steel/rose gold, smooth bezel, white dial/stick markers oyster bracelet.

My wife helped me configure the watch so you have her opinion:)
