Anyone seen this in AD Rolex showcase recently?

Passing through SINGAPORE Changi Terminal 4 yesterday and saw this display in AD Gassan showcase. They all appeared to be the real thing and had plastic wrap.
It was the first time I’d seen the Seadweller in real life.
Cheers, Peter

Rolex puts real display models in many locations worldwide, not unusual.

Well, I don’t believe I’d even seen a display model either so I’m slightly better off

There have been previous posts on this.
A bit annoying but not much you can do.

Wouldn’t the hands be set to ‘Rolex time’ if they were non functional display pieces?

It’s quite common all over. Why start a thread just for this?

Honestly it would be nice to see and touch models. As customers we could actually figure out if we like a piece before waiting years for it.

In Singapore, Rolex ADs I visited all had hot SS professional references on display, but they don't sell them. you can certainly try them on, but no picture is allowed.

I really don't understand why an AD would do this.

If you can order the display pieces then it makes perfect sense to me otherwise it seems pointless which I'm guessing is the case here.

Last time I was in a store that had a 'no photos or videos' sign posted, I had the security guard take a cell phone pic of me standing in front of the sign.

You realize that Rolex is shipping brand new watches for display purposes?
They send your watch to Singapore or some such place where it is handled by anyone who cares to. They will even size it multiple times so they can wear it around the shop.
Then they put it back in the plastic case and send it to your AD and sell it to you as new!

P.S. they also lick it before they repackage it.

I saw this when I was in Singapore, and it allowed me the opportunity to try on the display only Batman next to my Oyster Batman... my wife hated the jubilee on me. I’m very glad I got to try it on, and therefore really like this practice. I would love to try on the Daytona.
