Got the call last week..

Got the call last week for the 126660 James Cameron. Tried it on but couldn’t pull the trigger, it’s a beautiful watch...but I couldn’t see myself wearing it as a daily.

AHH. You should've brought it home. Somewhere here would've taken it off your hands real quick.

Too bad, such a great watch. I have a 7" wrist and once it is sized right, easily a daily driver. I think your wrist is plenty sufficient to pull that off.

Actually looks fine on you but it is a bit of a shock the first time trying it on. It looked hilarious on my 6.5” wrist. At the end of the day good call passing if it didn’t sing to you.

Honestly I am consistently surprised at how well the larger Rolex sports models work on smallish wrists. Definitely a thick watch but don't find that it looks clownishly large on you at all.

I had the same experience. Beautiful, but just too large for my taste.

Its a really pretty watch but its just too big. I have a 7" wrist and for me, it wasn't so much the circumference as it was the height. Its a big one.....

what's your wrist size?

from my perspective, i have the wrists for this (8.25-8.5) but I personally feel it's too tall. i don't think this has a chance of sliding under any cuffs.

My wrist is about 7.25 right now, the thickness is really what ruined it for me. It sits pretty tall, and the flatness of the sides make it even more evident. It does look amazing though, I can’t stress that enough.

The current JC wears like a dream if you can get past the thickness, it doesn’t look stupid at all.

I think it looks great on you. Still, if it doesn't sing to you, don't bring it home.

Fair play to you passing and not just jumping in because one was available I have a 116660 (my grail) and I enjoy the feel of it as a change from my daily wear (gmt IIc) and love the glideclasp for extra comfortable feel....it does looking stunning on you btw....what watch would you consider instead of?

It’s a beautiful watch, but if it doesn’t work for you, then you made the right decision

Very nice! Looks great
Too bad it doesn’t suit your taste. I am sure someone else will pick it up.

Works great on my 6 3/4 inch wrist . But if it wasn't for you that's ok there's always something else to buy

Hello, I was thinking of a two tone CHNR. I already have the SD43, and think it would be a great dressy piece...what’s your next piece going to be?

The TT CHNR does really appeal to me, especially as you say a ‘dressier’ piece, look forward to your pictures soon I’m waiting on a blue dialled millgaus which should be with me in the next couple of weeks which will be me done for a couple of years.....

The secret is, wear it slightly loose and wear it for a week and you’ll love it.

I got the call several times as well but said no, just not for me (colors more than the size). Smart move to not pull the trigger if it doesn't sing to you.

I got to try one one a couple years ago. Loved everything about it and definitely was ok on my >7" wrist. It was the thickness I just couldn't get past. That is what steered me toward the SD43. You may want to give one a try.

I went for it, I love it. It is chunky. Definitely not for everyone.

I found it to be far more comfortable the more I wore it.

I feel you there, I’ll be getting rid of my second car (which I don’t drive much) to purchase the CHNR; I’ll be done for a few years after that lol. Cheers to the long break! Lol!

I’ll be looking out for your pictures too..
