Speedmaster 50th Anniversary

Hi guys,

I'm hoping for some help with these.
I've got a chance of buying one, can you please tell me how much these sell for?
No box or papers but verified as genuine by shops.

Thanks

No it's worth more than 2300 max but typically with full box and everything these watches go for 5k-6k that I've seen. It is going to be hard to sell it without the full set as the box with all the tools and such really is what makes this watch special.

Thanks guys. I've been offered this watch from a friend considerably cheaper than 2300.
I presume I should definitely take it.
Also, is it possible to buy a set of tools for this?

Doubtful, this was pretty special, it was a huge display box with "watchmaker" tools in the lower compartment, also the papers and certificates would have been included...

If it's a great price, it's a great watch, but what makes it "special" was all that came with it...

Good luck, it's a sharp watch!!!

The price for it is 500 pounds.
I assume I'd be silly not to take it?

If you are getting it for considerably cheaper than 2300 I would go for it. Even a regular Speedy will garner over 2k these days. Even without the box at a huge discount you are getting it would be worthwhile.

I am talking about USD but you may be using a different currency

at 785 usd you'd be a fool not to jump on that. I would if I was in your shoes and given an AD checked it out for all authentic purposes then what a catch!

No offence taken, I'm trying to find out more about it first before I do decide

No one in their right mind would sell any real version of the moon watch for $785USD.

Omega doesn't have a stolen registry much like Rolex. If in any case just get the watch and the original owner if they contact you would more than likely be happy to pay you whatever it is costing

What he said, that's one of those too good to be true stories.

I think retail (with everything) was about 9 thousand us dollars.

Knowing the box and papers make the limited edition so special... I surely wouldnt pay more than 2300. Sapphire sandwich sells for 2200 without box or papers so... Regular hesalite speedys can be bought for under 2000 easily.

But either way... Thsts one hell of a deal for theOp!

If you like the watch, buy it and use it as your daily beater

FYI, one of these with the full kit just sold on eBay for 6500. If your really getting the watch for less than a grand it's a heck of a deal.

Little update.

Got the watch and love it. I'll try take some decent shots of it later.
I'm already looking for more to buy to replace the watches I have.
Just normal everyday watches like citizen, accurist so nothing exciting to show you.

My local AD have one in their display case for 11.500 dollar (80.000 kr in swedish currency). It has been sitting there for five years.

Box or not. This watch is unique with it's 3201 movement and enamel dial.
