beautiful watch! I really liked the new model (114060), but could not justify the price in my current situation. So I went for the 14060m. Plus, at that price point, it would be difficult not to get the non-deepsea seadweller...I guess that's what's beautiful about Rolex, plenty of tough decisions! enjoy the watch!

i too must admit, that i prefer the newer watches and mostly because of the bracelet. the older, lighter ones are clearly great and a great history. however, the newer ones "feel" much more substantial. i absolutely love my explorer II. however, i would wear it far more if i could put a new clasp and bracelet on it. just my .02 cents.

Thanks for the review.
I love the thought of the Sub ND and the maxi dial on it, but the wide lugs just don't do it for me. The ceramic bezel insert I think I could live without due to potential for cracking and chipping, but the lugs are the issue for me. Cheers. Wear it in good health! |

Nice review. Looks good but for me SubC with Date wins every time.

I thinks it great how it turned out. A month ago I almost bought a 14060m, and a lot of people tried to convince me that was the way to go. I decided to wait and get the 114060 instead after trying on a SubC. I can't wait and even though I don't have it yet, I have no regrets.

Congrats on a beautiful piece and great photos! Definitely a keeper. I too am not much of a cyclops fan and definitely love the clean look of Subc ND.
For me I find having a date complication quite useful so I decided to go for the best available option IMO which was a 16600 SeaDweller:) |

I personally prefer the proportions of the 14060m dots and lines compared to the new one. At the same time my only complaint of the 14060m is the so-so lume, probably better lume on a maxi dial, so I guess you cant have it both ways.
I like the taper of the lugs and transition to the bracelet better on the 14060m. To me the new lugs are too squared looking. I personally like classics (or dinosaurs to some). I like the lightweight (to some cheap feeling) bracelet which makes it comfortable to wear for a long time. And the lug holes are cool, IMO they allow you to quickly go with a strap if you want to dress down, or dont want to scratch up the bracelet at the beach. At the end of the day the only thing that matters it that YOU love your watch. Glad you like your watch, wear it in good health! Thanks for the review, I was curious to hear about the 114060 ! |

Bought the 14060m this week but love this updated version too. Nice clean look. Good photos, too. Thanks for those.

This is my 114060 on my 6.75" wrist. It's my first Rolex, and I love the clean and balanced dial, and the simplicity of adjusting the fit of the bracelet using the Glidelock clasp.

I wouldn't be so harsh here ... comment wasn't that "under the standard".
It was a spicy review though. I have 14060M myself and I am loving every piece of this watch. I know that new C-14060M is an improvement ... but i don't think i will be flipping mine just to get the newest model. Technology inside is 99% the same, cosmetics always change and there is never enough time in the life time to chase the latest. Glad the reader is happy with the purchase, that is why we buy toys like these .... to appreciate the rolex workmanship. the C-14060M will be old one day too :)))))) at the end of the day, 99% of chicks have no clue about our watch anyways |

At first sight i wanted it BUT ...
But.... The New Case looked bulky out of shape wrongly designed , The clasp from viewing pictures online looked fat chunky blocky as well ,but then i sold my 14060m and bought the new one 114060 ,and ahhh man, it was way different in person, The New case design is not much different from the OG and the new claps design is splendid !!!
