2nd Panerai - companion to a Pam233

Hey guys

What would you recommend as a second Panerai? I have a pam233 dot dial which I love and thinking of adding another one.

Thanks!

Obvious answer is a Radiomir. Though basically any other case would be reasonable. The great thing about the 233 is that it has the historic 1950s case shape, but with a ton of complications that weren't available on models in the 1950s. I would go with something more historically pure, even if recent, for contrast. A 47mm Radiomir or 44mm Luminor (non-1950s) makes sense. As does basically any Radiomir 1940. The play book is really wide open for you.

I’m debating the same right now and basically agree, anything not with a luminor 1950s case...

How about something in the Radiomir 1940 case family?
Would pair nicely with your 233.

Cheers

I have a 233 dot as my one-and-only PAM as well. I was thinking of getting a submersible, actually -- maybe that black 616.

It seems to go against other advice here (many think you should avoid getting another luminor 1950), but I think it's a great case, and there's a lot of differentiation in the submersibles vs. the 233.

How about a complicated Radiomir. I’m thinking 323.

Been in the same situation and went with a Radiomir 232 SE.

Shortly after I sold the 233 but still have the 232. IMO the perfect Panerai!

232 is an amazing piece....one i would love to add, however no panerai without a crown guard is the "perfect Panerai". IMHO. ;)

If you like 8 days like I do; I chose the 190 to pair with my 233 dot; but recently sold my 233 as I only wore it on weekends so I decided to go with a 368 paired with a keg ammo... perfect weekend watch... but I love it so much I wear it with a tan JV and wear it to work

372 or 587

I just settled this same debate tonight. Opted 372 in the end.
Agree with the above sentiment about a Radiomir for diversity, and feel that 587 is the Radiomir to do (for 1940 case + MM). Was this close to pulling trigger on 587, but in the end, 372 called to me more.

372 + 233 is a solid base for any collection.
