Manual for me. I like the feeling of winding a watch. Also, manual wind watches are generally thinner than automatics, which is a plus.

I buy the watch, not the movement. I have both although my most recent purchases have both been manuals.
One is a tribute and the other a re-edition ... is there a pattern or just coincidence with my watch acquisitions in my old age? |

As I get older, I buy more traditional watches: classic designs, conservative, smaller, manual, sometimes precious metal.
