Thinking of getting an Aquaracer.....
Hi all, I am thinking of getting a Tag Heuer Aquaracer chrono automatic, CAF2112 and use it as my daily, save my blue tt sub for the weekend. I found a used one at an authorized trusted dealer, he will give me a 2 year warranty, it has the calibre 16 movement and in great shape.......anything to know?

No complaints about the bullet proof workhorse Val 7750 movement. I think your dealer would be asking little more, that's perfectly ok since the watch is Bang for the Buck but use your bargaining skills to try and get TH Aquaracer Chrono Cal 16 as close to US1450-1500 if you can.... |

Oh, you do like the pictures, don't you? Ok. I'll send in the rest of the Cavalry.... I expect your pre-owned watch to be in this condition, nothing more nothing less....

Chrono register wasn’t working right but I’ve had it for two years so no big deal.

I have no idea but the one you are looking at is an older model. Mine is model year 2016.

My Aquaracer is amazing. Pictures do not capture the radiance of that blue dial.

Mine came back to my AD today from service and it is working flawlessly. The service case they sent it back in is also pretty awesome. I’ve been very happy with this watch over the last 18 months. I’d buy another modern Tag Heuer without hesitation.

I have a TAG CAP 2112 that I bought a little more than three years ago from my local AD (also a ROLEX AD). I've been very pleased with it, and consider the build quality to be very good +, to excellent -, but I'm a bit OC. Not up to ROLEX or OMEGA build standards, but very nice at that price point.
My only complaint is that hand placement could/should be a bit (but only a bit) more precise regarding the large second hand and one of the small hands when resetting the chrono. My SMP has spoiled me in that regard. The watch ran a bit fast and my AD regulated it under warranty. It now runs ~ + one second a day, which puts it right where my 16610 Sub runs. My wife really liked the look of the CAP 2112 so I gave her a TAG WBD 1412, lady's Aquaracer quartz (she doesn't like automatics) for Christmas. Both watches have the blue dial and the Mrs. likes the fact that we have "matching" watches. I have a friend who has been wearing a TAG Aquaracer that was given to him by his wife years ago. Daily wear, hasn't been serviced and "keeps on tickin', and takes a lickin'". This is my story, and I'm stickin' to it. Regards |

Clockwork Synergy. I also have a brown strap for it. The blue just pops. I really like the look.

Very nice! I know it has received a lot of criticism, but I really like the pepsi aquaracer.

I have an Aquaracer I bought in 2009. I use it and abuse it i.e. sauna, mowing lawns, swimming, cooking and still keeps good time.
