39 vs 41 mm Royal Oak

I currently have the 15300 39mm Royal oak that fits perfectly on my sized wrist. Looking at the 15400 and like to know how much of a difference is the size between the two. My wrist is more on the smaller side around 6.5 inches. Can't find anywhere local to try it out. Thanks

I had the 15400 and it was big on my 7" wrist. I wish I would have gone with the 15300. Now, I like the look of the 15300 better than the 15400.

I have a 15400 but have never tried on a 15300. The 400 wears large. I also have the James Bond Omega SMP which is also 41mm and the 400 wears and feels larger than my Omega SMP.

I'd say stay with the 300. If that one fits your wrist perfectly, a larger one will be too big IMO.

15300 wears much better on smaller wrists.

I owned a 15300 and then moved to a 15400, didn’t work.

Went for a 26300 and it was much better for me, which ultimately made way for a 15202.

IMHO, and I also have a 6.5" wrist; definitely stay with the 15300. When I tried on the 400 it felt a lot bigger.

Cheers,
Joe

Thanks all for the insight. I'm looking for an all Rose Royal oak. The only other option is the 15202 rose which is 39mm but not a big fan of that movement.

The rose 15202 fit my wrist better than the 15300. The thinner profile and the bracelet felt like it draped the wrist much better. It is an incredible watch.

Only a couple things came up when looking at the 15202, the unusual date change process and no screw in crown. The other aspect is pricing, they seem to have skyrocketed recently.

Was there ever a 15300 39mm variant in all Rose?

Stick with what you got, brotha. I had a 15400 with my 7" wrist and found it too large (dial looks massive with the thinner bezel was why I suspect) and sold it to buy a 15300 blue.

OP fit/look can also depend on wrist shape so would advise trying one on!

But on size alone I do feel the 39mm will most likely suit you the best, my wrist is 7.5 and the 41mm lugs just fit within my wrist.

Here is my 15300OR. Wears very comfortable and size is just nice. I tried the 15400 and it is too big on my wrist.

Agree...I have the same size wrist and where the bracelet flairs out, the 41 does not fit squarely on my wrist

I think the 39 will fit you best. They wear big anyway.

I would say try it out, I love oversized watches and after a while they seem normal. I wore my old 36MM Datejust that my wife wears now, and it felt tiny and girly, even Daytonas look tiny on me now.
