Anyone here have a 5205R?

I have all sport watches and have been flirting with consolidating and picking up a dress watch that could be dressed down some, this one kinda has my attention and want rose gold. All mine are steel, with the exception of my carbon Diver AP. I looked at the 5205G and didn't love the white gold or blue/black dial. I do however like the rose gold on black dial in photos. I tend to be dressed down 90% of the time (jeans, sneakers or shoes and a polo or button up). I'm a little concerned that I wouldn't wear this one as much as I may want to pre-purchase. For any that have one, do you have issues dressing it down?

I did have one back in the day; you can dress down no problem; the only thing is that on places with poor light conditions telling the time was hard. I didn’t care about it though

Why did you get rid of it? Did it get old on you? I do not want to make a spur of the moment purchase here since I am craving rose gold for some reason but not sure THIS is the one. I really have to see it in person but interested to hear why someone like yourself moved on from it.

Impossible to tell the time in bright sunlight but the watch looks great on a cloudy day. IMG_5430.jpg

I helped a friend get one a couple months back and hes been wearing it quite often with t shirts and shorts. He has the white dial and it looks good casual.

Edit: they're available with nice discounts too!

Legibility is a concern on the RG with black dial. You have been warned.

I've heard this before but dont agree. I find it very easy to read. I wear mine everywhere. Publix, work, dinner etc. Its very light and comfortable. I think it is a very classy watch and im glad i bought it.

At the time I upgraded to 5960p, that’s how I got rid off it. I always have a RG watch in my collection. Right now I have this

Patek AC market is worst than ever , so if you go for it, find like 40% off from retail deal (Used or not). Now if you are gonna keep it until you die then it doesn’t matter

Good luck
