Hello From Boston MA!
Hi, longtime lurker here decided to join. From the Boston area, and work in a pre-owned watch business that specializes in buying/selling and repairing vintage, rolex and other high end brands. Business has been around the Boston area for 35 years. I used to be a chef for 10 years but decided to join the family business just this past September. Learning the repair side of work, was lucky to build a new workshop, including a watchmakers bench from the 1880s, cabinets full of vintage parts, polishing machines, pressure testers, witschi timing machines and all kinds of other tools and parts amassed over the last 30 years. Excited to get into the business, so much to learn but also a lot of fun. On my wrist now a 1999 16710 Pepsi, favorite vintage would probably be a 5512 with nice even dark patina on a matching dark brown leather strap. Hope to make some good connections here and learn more about the wild world of Rolex!
