5167 plus BLRO = 5164??
I’m not getting any luck with Salons or the dealer who sold me my 5711 (he was honest and didn’t bull me which was appreciated)
Thinking of going grey with this scenario (if possible) before things get further crazy 5167 plus BLRO = 5164?? My thinking is BLRO easy to replace down the line but prob won’t miss it with PP Travel Time. Any thoughts or advice? |

Are you saying you have a 5167 and a blro and you wish to trade for a 5164?

I really love the dial on the 64. The 67 is a bit boring for Me so I’d do that deal. Assuming you bought both at retail it would be as if you were paying under list for the 5164

I have the 5711 (which I love) hence 5164 would be the better combo plus I travel a fair bit :)
PS - a few guys have suggested some places via PM recently. Didn’t work out (was told to do one politely) however really appreciated the suggestions and help!!! |

That’s essential the deal I completed to get my 5164. It was cash that roughly equaled the cost of a 5167 and a BLNR that I got for retail plus I received 27% back from VAT.
I say go for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Concentration into higher quality pieces is a good idea in my mind and if I was in your shoes I would likely go for it.
Personally I prefer the 5167 (and even more so the 5968) over the 5164 but that is just me as I am not into GMT and travel time pieces... |

I wouldn’t do that. 5167 ...and 5164 is so similar To give that up and a Pepsi for a 64. NOPE
A Pepsi into a 5524G would be more exciting Or both watches towards a 5320 or 5170g |

No , I wouldn’t.
Pepsi you can use to fight the walking dead And Aqua you wear it when you are not killing the zombies. Lol well you get my point, you are cover for all situations With just 1 Aqua you can just use it on limited situations Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

5167 plus BLRO = 5164??
If you can swing it, try to just sell the 5167 towards the 5164 and hang on to the SS BLRO. The Pepsi is just too good to let go.

Guess the other option is swap 5711 for a 5712 so I get my PP sporty complication that way instead, however guess that will be difficult also lol

Having owned the 5167 and 5164... I think 5167 plus BLRO is too much to let go. The SS BLRO is truly one of my favourites. Is there a way you can only swap the 5167 out?

Gotcha , I wouldn’t let go the Pepsi, probably the best GMT to own now. Ceramic Daytona and Pepsi duo is very hard to beat. I would combine your 2 Pateks 5711 and 5167 for a complicated Nautilus or stay put and do nothing. I am more inclined to don’t do nothing now , having the 5711 with your name on the papers is a very special thing My 2 cents Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’d rather have both than the 5164. But if I had a lot of pieces, I could see consolidating.

I would have no problem moving both of those for a 5164 - but im not a fan of those two watches, either lol
I suspect reaction would correlate with how much one likes your two current pieces |

I'd keep what you have, the 5167 is a classic. Nice to have the pepsi and more durable for its purpose.

I would for sure. 5164 is worth it and you have a daytona for the rough and tumble days. Also having the 5711 the 5164 provides some variety in terms of fit and function vs the more similar 5167.

I wouldn't!
I swapped a 5167a and blnr for a 5164a and ended up trading back to a 116710ln and 5167a. The 5164a bezel isn't robust enough for travel and the 5167a date window and svelte looks made it more suitable as my day to day. |
