1675 opinion

Hello,

I was wondering if I could get an opinion about this 1675? I’ve been looking for one for a while now to wear in my rotation. It clearly has a service replaced dial, hands, and insert, all of which I’m OK with. I’m not necessarily looking for a patina, creamy loom, or a faded insert—I just like the overall look and feel of the 1675 over the other Pepsi references.

I understand there are a lot of subtleties with this reference, and I would appreciate any input that you more knowledgeable folks might have. Thank you!

Aside from the lugs which look to be about 3/4 to 1/2 what they should be, I'm thinking (from a non-expert POV) replaced dial, hands, and insert. The bracelet is also not "period correct" as I think it should have a rivet bracelet for that year, not the modern 78360 bracelet. And the quest continues… Good luck!

Watches like this come up on eBay now and then, and typically sell for $8k-ish IMO. When all the original parts are gone, but value dives.

Overpriced

I think the watch is overpriced for what it is.
The condition is not too great.
I think you can do better.
