Did it cost an arm and a leg?

The brand new 78360/580 was provided recently by an AD to keep the vintage at rest. Retail price was 1k€.
The dial is neat, only one hour plot has a microscopic loss. Hands have suffered a bit, the chrome is beggining to slightly oxidate.

Time for a good service !

The RSC was nice enough to open the watch before me :

Insert, plexi, crown and o-rings will be replaced. Rendez-vous in a month to see the results.

Just curious, where did you source the hands?

At Bucherer Paris AD Rolex), they told me that the 78360 could no longer be ordered from Rolex. The one you got was in stock at your AD or was it ordered from Rolex ??

Although the Watchmaker of Paris Bucherer's RSC is very nice and accessible (he passed both my watches to the timegrapher and proof master on the fly while chatting), I would not trust the tourist aimed sellers of the ground floor.
Their second hand showroom is also quite well stocked.

I ordered mine new from the AD rue de Rennes (6e). It came from Rolex in less than ten days. Of course I couldn't keep the box for obvious reasons. Fun fact, the clasp bears a 2010 code.

Back from the RSC and looking brand new again! Waterproof guaranteed, movement adjusted to cosc specs and case slightly polished. Dial, hands, date wheel were preserved as required! Good job Mr Rolex.

1675 is my personal favorite out of the 4 digits. Congrats on the pick up!
