Met an olive 5711/1300A in the wild…
This watch was truly breathtaking in real life. At first I thought the dial was black, but under brighter lighting the olive green popped out.
I won’t say much other than that the owner is a real gentleman with a substantial and diverse collection (I’m not just taking Nautiluses, I’m talking major grand complications, rare handcrafts, etc.). I feel honored to have come across this piece in real life on its owner’s wrist! |

That is bad@$$....and a serious VIIIP to boot because I hear some ADs don't even get the baguette version. Crazy opportunity to see it in the flesh, thanks for sharing OP.

one word - amazing
Haven’t seen many incoming posts yet - I have also heard that they are super rare and that not all ADs were allocated one |

Thanks for everyone's comments, I'm still shocked that I saw it in person!
Cheers to those who prefer my white dial. I tend to agree in a smaller collection, however the owner has ~10 other Nautiluses so there's definitely room for this beauty. He showed photos of a few heavy hitters including the original 5711/1P, the 40th anniversary 5976/1G, and the 5711/1P with dark gray dial and emeralds. I had to lift my jaw off the floor!! |

Curious, were you at the AD or another watch store? Or was it just lucky trip to Walmart

Thanks for sharing......
I like the idea of having the diamonds bezel at least you don't have to worry about the bezel scratch.... It would be perfect if it has the baguette-cut diamonds dial too.....
