Thats not correct at all. The dive had years of engineering design and pre planning. The event was calculated and equipment made- including a very thick black dialed Deep Sea watch. And reading between the lines, that was a last minute afterthought as well. If you believe it only took a few weeks to make it where we've previously been led to believe with the Depp Sea marketing it took ages to design because of the pressures involved.

Someone or a team winning an event is a possibility with preparation done but the outcome is still up for the other side to succeed.
