A matter of personal Taste. Mine:

As an everyday watch the Sub beats the SD50. Nicer (glossy) dial, bezel with better proportions and without the not so nice grey valve. Plus it wears better. But the lugs proportions are better with the SD50.

As a very cool watch for the rotation, i‘d choose the D-Blue. It is nicer with the beautiful dial than the mate dial of the SD50 or 4K.

Edit. The D-Blue has a nice matching silver Helium escape valve ;)

Do I not need to see pics like that!

Ditto.
This alone kills it for me. Lol

I will take the SD43 with new case, latest movement, new 22mm bracelet and the special 50th anniversary red letters.

And yes, SD43 is an over-sized sub. That’s what makes it special
(Guess that makes the DSSD the sub on steroids. Lol)

Seriously tho, I find the newer subs casing “boxy”...almost too square.
The SD43 has more tapered look, like the 5digit subs.

Of course, I m bit biased as a new owner. Lol

Our family

My Father is 76 and wears my old SD4k he loves it, My son is 31 and wears the DSSD JC he said he could never wear anything smaller and it really suits him and all his tattoos the lovely Dial. Myself being 53 and having the chance to buy the 43mm 50th anniversary to go with my 1665 Patent Pending from 1967 was a no brainer,

There is no wrong answer , they are all bloody wonderful and all have a place in the collection .

here is the pics from Rolex site showing the sub and sd43...

for those who say SD43 is just an oversized sub really needs to take a closer look

I’ve only seen one SD43 in the wild and the only D-Blue I’ve seen is mine. The SD43 looked good and certainly stood out but I love the D-Blue especially on the Rubber-B strap. It’s been my daily wearer since I took delivery about 2 months ago. Tough call...and sorry but I haven’t done enough posts yet so no pics :(

I personally don't like the James Cameron DS because of the blue down to black colour graduation, thats just a personal preference. The DS is a big watch, if its going to be a daily wearer then make sure you are comfortable wearing it. The 126600 less so but still large compared to previous 40mm SD. I went for the 126600, have had the chance to buy the DS but have passed on it due to its size. Loving the 43mm 126600 though. Can't really go wrong with an SD either way, good luck
