SS Daytona v. Deapsea v. Classic Sea Dweller
Hi guys, I am a long time lurker. I love to check out the posts from time to time. I have not been buying watches for a while. Last purchase was a PAM GMT (40mm) a couple of years ago. I have been buying LE fountain pens.
Lately, I have developed the yen for a new Rolex. I have a Datejust (1991) and a two tone Sub(mid-90's). I am interested in one of the three watches listed in the title line. I recognize that it is a subjective thing but can you guys give me some feedback on some recommendations. I have tried on the first two and the only concerns I have with the Deep Sea is that it might be too large for my wrist. (N.B. the 40 mm PAM). The only issue with the Classic Sea dweller seems to be that I would have to go into the secondary market. Bit of a newb as I have always bought from AD's. Can anyone recommend some trustworthy online sellers. Need some direction. Let me know. Feedback is appreciated. Cheers Sanj |

Thought I would invite reviews of the three watches I am interested in. If people don't respond I will post again in general discussion area which I agree, upon reflection, may be more conventional.

Wrong forum but WTH, I have a deepsea and I am loving it to bits and shreds...a buddy got the Z series SD but I found it too small for my liking as a rugged tool watch and the new deepsea fits in the missing link.
A subC is on my mind for 2011 but you cant go wrong with rolex. |

Three great watches!
In order, I wear:
SD >> Daytona >> DSSD But they are all great and an absolute BLAST to wear! Pick and enjoy the watch that speaks to you. And then pick another.... |
