I am debating between Sub date and Exp II right now. Will see what AD can do for me on pricing.

Probably not until at least late September and that all depends where you live. Larger ADs tend to get newer watches first. When they get the newer watches those tend to go to customers who have an established relationship with the AD first.

Could be depending on popularity you might have to wait awhile before getting one until the hubub dies down.

You can't go wrong with a sub, just need to decide whether you need a date complication or not

Unless you need a GMT function, I would get the Sub ND for my first Rolex.

Sub date. I'm deciding on my first Rolex as well. I really liked the look of the Explorer II until I tried it on.

I agree with waiting until you decide. It's your first one and it's not a Timex, so letting others pick may not be the best way to go. But if you insist, definitely a TT Sub date.
