Hello Ronnie

Well 'is it worth it?' is only a question you yourself may answer as that is a personal value judgment.

However, having purchased that watch I would say it is a beautiful piece, very different from other watches. It is a kind of stealth watch as the baby blue dial/bezel belies the solid 18k material of the case and bracelet. It is a heavy piece but after a few days remarkably you don't even seem to notice it on your wrist.

I purchased mine from DavidSW a trusted seller here and have never looked back:

Re: A very nice choice!

I have to agree. I really like my SS 16610 Y Serial Sub. I have a Datejust that is a great watch, but the Sub feels more "substantial" on my wrist (pun intended) :). It is a great looking watch. Took me a long time to decide to part with the cash, but I am glad I did.

It's so easy to pick one of the all time great watches. Who could ever find fault with someone buying a SS Submariner or a SS Daytona. It's an absolute winner for life and we should all have lifespans as long as a watch that well made.
