Cool watch and if you like red you will be happy. In the current market it is a value. If you question the red you can pick up another dial and have a watch maker swap it out on occasion and have a different look. Buy complete with box and papers.

These have not close to the collector following or resale of the moon watch for. What I understand correct?

One of the nicest Schumacher's I've seen.

Cool colors but I agree that the standard Pro model is the most desirable and has the most stable value.

This model is an automatic movement with a date window at the 6 o'clock position....

Even so, it is a great addition to a collection since the dial is so unique. The case back engraving is also painted in red...

You should buy at least one watch just because you like it; not because it's price is appreciating!

There was one on DavidSW site yesterday for about US$2400 that seems to be gone now. Guessing you may have just picked that one up

I own a 2001 carbon fiber dial version myself. I personally don't like the red dial and if there is a "collectable" Speedmaster Michael Schumacher, I think it would be the 2004 panda dial version, but it looks like a "Paul Newman" copy.

Not a big fan of red dial but very tempting price from one trusted seller site.
