Scammer "eyewsee"

Hello all,

I just wanted to highlight a scammer that is currently selling on the forum in the hopes to prevent others from making the same mistake. His user name is "eyewsee" and goes by the names Keith, Shawn, and Merard. He is currently selling a few watches in the forum. He also sells on TimeZone, which is where I got scammed

I will give you a short backstory of my experience with this seller. I messaged him about a Milgauss that he was selling. He was quick at communication at first. He sent pictures, and reference list so I can make sure he was legit. I checked the referrals which seemed to all check out. I was ready to buy the watch and insisted we doe the transaction through PayPal, the seller was adamant that he only accepts bank wire. I made the mistake of using his referrals as enough of a trust tool Wired the money, the seller stated that he received the wire and sent me a shipping label. The next morning seller states that someone offered him more money and if I don't wire an additional $2,000, he is going to sell to the other buyer. At this point, I told the seller that this is not the deal that we agreed on and asked for a refund. Seller agreed after hours of silence. Since then, seller disconnected phone, and hasn't responded to any messages.

So long story short, paid seller, seller decided to not send watch, and disconnected line when asked for a refund. I know wire transfer limits my options, but if anyone has an idea of how to get my money back, please let me know.

Either way, hopefully this keeps anyone from making the same mistake I made. Again his name is "eyewsee" and goes by Keith Shawn or Merard.

The only "eyewsee" here hasn't been online since 2012, and has never posted. You have a link to any sales here? Or is this post just copy and pasted from another forum thread?

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience. I was almost scammed in timezone a couple of years ago on a Batman. The seller sent me a couple of references. I contacted them thru timezone mail and they responded that their transaction with the guy were ok. I still made the effort of calling one of the references because his previous threads had a phone number. Guess what, he confirmed he never corresponded with the seller nor had responded to a mail from me. These scammers are able to make up bogus references by hacking other members' accounts. Never placed a sale or order from Timezone since. Take care next time. Hope you find a way to catch this guy.

Yeah, he doesn't have anything for sale on RF, sorry about that. But both of his references were on here so I figured I would mention it.

I think naming the refs is more pertinent here.

"Wire" is often a four letter word in watch sales.

Wiring money doesn’t kill people, people kill people. Nothing wrong at all with wiring money, which we’ve all done safely tons and TONS of watches transactions, real estate, etc. It’s about the recipient. No problem wiring money for example to Aamir, Than, DavidSW, HQM, Bobs, etc. some random dude? Not a good idea.
