Upon unboxing it, the watch has exceeded all my expectations! The rose color is unique and subtly changes appearance throughout the day. The size feels excellent in rotation with my other daytonas and rolexes

After chatting with a Patek historian, i was surprised to learn only 1,500 of the 3940 were produced in rose gold. I was drawn to the strong Patek DNA in this watch, not only in its aesthetics and mythology, but also in the fact that the 3940 was daily wearer of Mr. Stern himself! Thanks for reading and now the obligatory wristshots !!!!
Health to enjoy!

Lovely watch.

I have been admiring yours since you acquired it

I have always thought the Ref 3940 was special. I have been on the hunt, but nervous about buying one without seeing it in person. Shortly after you started this thread I had the opportunity to acquire one locally myself. As part of the deal I requested a full service from PP and a new PP strap. It was returned 3.5 months later. While not my most valuable timepiece it has become my favorite. It is just so perfect, a true work of art. Perfect size for my diminutive wrists. Those that have read my posts are likely becoming bored of my raving.

Hey OP - over a year later, what's your experience with it? Care to leave a longer-term review on it?
