Need advise on the condition of this piece. Is it in good condition? Polish piece?

Tough to tell with those pictures, but does look like it's been polished quite a bit

It really does look like its been well worn, then polished. But not outrageously so. Do you know anything else about this watch ? Price? Significance to you ?

If you're just doing online homework, I'd pass on this watch. My .02.

I'd get a polar dial Exp II new in a heartbeat from my AD...if the call would ever come.

To get a good gauge of the level it's been polished, I really need to see the lugs at an angled view. Picture of the crown on the clasp help as well. the top-down pictures you've posted don't really allow people to see the lines to gauge how soft or crisp they are.

There is no way anyone can give certainty in the comments above regarding polishing. The pictures are blurry and the crown guard isn’t really in the picture. Saying a watch is over polished seems to be the standard reply if unsure.

How someone can say for you to pass on this watch just from seeing those two pictures is beyond me.

Upload better pictures for us, please.

EDIT: NewUser above has replied with sensible advice and recommendation.

Here's my final 0.02. If you can't tell, and based on your pictures, most people here likely can't provide a good opinion, I would pass. There are simply too many of these watches in great shape floating around. Watch looks decent, but if those three pictures are what I had to from, it's a no from me.

+1. Could be great but who can tell? Nice tritium dial maybe. Rounded lugs seems like. No steal at that price. Buy when you can actually tell what you’re buying, eg, high Rez pics

It's definitely over polished but not a deal breaker if the price is right. Also, a new bezel wouldn't be that expensive if you send in for servicing at some point.

Tks sp006 and 1william for the feedback. Really appreciate it. I live in a small country so hard to find a nice example of tritium Rolex and that the one I really wanted. Haha. Well since most of them are just interested in selling new stuffs so a tritium dial is really hard to come by

Looks good.

This watch is almost 20 years old, it has been cleaned up and lightly brushed to make a good impression.

There is nothing obviously wrong or overdone with this watch.

Will be getting it in 2 days time. Feeling excited and will post the pic once it’s on my wrist. But one last thing I wish to check is the bracelet. Is this the correct bracelet for 16570 year 96/97? Really appreciate the feedback

I agree with Tools. It is a decent watch and definitely not over-polished.
