Thanks, they had 4 bottles of the Bookers but they would only let me have 2... he said it came in on Monday and they had been waiting 8 months to get some.

There was plenty of Buffalo Trace, well 8 bottles on the shelf... and 4 Blantons... and I took 2. I looked at a Whistlepig 18 year old... but I wasn't paying $399

Whistlepig is from Vermont! But if you like rye, it's real good.

We have limits on all the best sellers, across all price ranges.

Good haul. Your friends will be extremely pleased.

I was going to recommend OF 1910. You had some great options at your disposal.

Keep some for yourself! Blanton's is very good. I also saw others recommend Angel's Envy.

I own a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle. I was going to break it open at Passover 2020, but now Passover 2021 looks unlikely. In the pandemic, we realize what drink it while you can means.

Hope your crew appreciates your efforts!

Great purchases!

For me, Four Roses single barrel and Marker’s 46 have always been solid choices that I enjoy every time and are easy to find.

The bourbon market has gotten crazy, imho.

Surprised there were two mentions of basil Hayden. A solid choice that hits all the marks in my book, tasty, not crazy with price and best of all you can get it. Most casual drinkers for some reason have never heard of it and the bottle is fancy enough to look more expensive.

I like the horsey on top of Blanton’s cork. It’s also great bourbon.

The bottle tops each have a small letter showing at the bottom back of the horse. If you collect all & position the tops that spell out B L A N T O N S the horse goes from a trot, to a gallop, and on to victory.

Ditto stocked in every store in my parts for 40-50 bucks.

The AE rye is my preference.

I am not sure about where you are, but Oregon has an online liquor search. Since our liquor stores are all state run, the prices are set and are consistent from store to store. OLCC ( Oregon Liquor Control Commission ) has a website. Search "OLCC liquor search" on Google.

Picked up a bottle in Jersey last week for 33 sitting right on the shelf. Haven’t seen one on the shelf in months.

Sweet! I picked up a bottle of old man wrinkle for 300 couple weeks ago and popped open last night. It was delightful.

If you can find it, Blantons imo is one of the best in that range.
