Anyone use this, and what happens, what is the process?

Any wristwatch over $2,000 is automatically shipped to a 3rd party authenticator, inspected, tagged and sent to the buyer.
It does not apply to wristwatches that cost under $2,000, or pocket watches of any kind. It does not verify original parts, so a Rolex may have a service dial, or a redone dial and still pass inspection. It may have non-original parts as well. This mainly a problem with vintage watches. I am thinking it does not apply to international sales, someone may correct me on that. Last edited by MILGAUSS88; 26 November 2020 at 02:03 PM.. Reason: .... |

Well, they launched it Sept, 8th, and it is still on the ebay website.
It sounds like you need to be on their new managed pay system and off of Paypal. So, perhaps some dealers have the authenticity guarantee and some don't. They have switched my wife's account over to managed pay, but my account is still on Paypal. |
